In the midst of all the health and economic news that our minds are trying to process right now, the stories of musicians playing concerts from their balconies or neighbors offering to pick up groceries or medicine for their older neighbors are the ones that speak to our hearts. Crisis situations make us realize that we need each other. Whatever it is that we can contribute to the greater good, this is the time to do so. 

For those of us in the premium appliance industry, it’s no different. How can we find ways to encourage each other as we navigate the unknown? How can we share ideas and successes so that other dealers can benefit? Over the last week or so, our conversations with premium appliance dealers keep leading us back to this one thought: We need to be working together to keep our industry strong. 

Here are a few things you can do to start:

  • Share this post with other premium appliance dealers you know. We’re not fishing for business – we’re interested in creating a larger source of ideas and encouragement for all of us during these unusual times. We want to continue to share ideas through these emails in the days and weeks ahead. 
  • You’re also welcome to use and/or share the template letter we wrote for our clients to send to their customers about their response to COVID-19. Clear communication is imperative, and we want to make it easy for you to reassure your customers during this time. 
  • Take a deep breath. Seriously. Things are changing so fast, we all need to make sure we are taking care of ourselves. Take a break from the news or social media – even if just for an hour – and give yourself room to rest. This is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. We all need to be pacing ourselves for the race ahead.
